Subject: Dull, Dull, Dull
I was hoping for a 'so bad it's good' movie as so many Japanese sci-fi/horror films are, but was disappointed. Sure, the starfish costumes of the aliens are pathetic, and the dialog was good for a hoot occasionally, but on the whole this sci-fi thriller is a bore.

I downloaded the 699MB AVI file. It looked like a good VHS transfer.

Subject: Early armageddon
I rate this film higher than "Armageddon". O.K., it´s easy, because I don´t like Armageddon anyway.

"Warning from space" produces a convincing atmosphere of increasing danger. Empty cities, earthquakes, tsunamis (well, who knows them better than the japanese people?).

Some lacks of credibility have to be admitted. For example: The collision is said to be happening in 50 days and the people are ordered to go to the shelter IMMEDIATELY?

Also an unnecessary subplot which does not end in a convincing way.

The film deserves 3 stars, but I give 4 to correct the previous low rating.

Subject: Not a bad movie.
It kept my interest. The only thing really hokey about this film is the cloth and wire star-shaped aliens with an eyeball in their bellybuttons.
